Hey, hey, hey, it’s Kim.
I work as a Solution Owner for a consulting firm. I used to code, deploy, design, and engineer, but made the switch into tech consulting cuz I like building architecture (and hate Jira tickets). But I wasn’t always an engineer. In fact, I taught history and computer science for grades 7-12. I taught for eight years in LA Unified and had a blast. You can read more about my journey here.
When I am not working, I like to cook, travel and scratch my two dogs, Cha-Cha and Shakira (yes, those really are their names):
I like BBQ, fighting for social justice, and being la mas chingona. I advocate for women, blacks and Latinas in tech, and equal opportunity.
